Grade 4 Ballet upwards

These more advanced ballet classes will develop and refine your child’s ballet technique and knowledge. The school’s qualified teachers follow the RAD syllabi and students are encouraged to enter annual exams (subject to parental approval), to progress through the grades and to reach their full potential. Pupils will begin pointe work from Grade 6 onwards.

Contemporary (10yrs +)

Contemporary is an expressive style of dance combining modern, lyrical and ballet giving the student the opportunity to express emotion, and developing core strength and flexibility.

Tuesdays, 6.45pm

Grade 3 Tap 

A class for dancers with previous tap experience, looking to build on your child’s existing skills and techniques. The school follows the IDTA syllabus and students are encouraged to enter grading exams.  

Mondays, 5.00pm – additional grades are added to the timetable as students progress

Grade 4 Modern (10yrs +) and Intermediate Modern (12yrs +)

A free and expressive style of dance, set to current musical trends.

Grade 4 Modern, Mondays 5.0pm; Intermediate Modern, Mondays 7.15pm

Street Jazz (over 12s)

A fun, energetic class learning the latest moves to favourite popular music.

Mondays, 6.00pm

Senior Jazz (12yrs +)

A fun and energetic class, popular with children wanting to learn all the cool moves and routines to the latest popular music.

Combined with Commercial Jazz, Mondays, 6.45pm

Commercial (12 yrs +)

Commercial dance is an upbeat class, combining a range of styles, a fun environment and a great way to boost confidence.

Combined with Senior Jazz, Monday, 6.45pm

AcroDance Levels 3 and 4

A unique blend of dancing and gymnastic disciplines, building strength, flexibility and stamina. Taught by a qualified AcroDance teacher and following the Acrobatics Arts syllabus.

Level 3 Thursdays 4.55pm; Level 4 Tuesdays 7.15pm

Musical Theatre (6 yrs +)

If your child enjoys dancing, singing and acting, then this is the class for them. They will learn to perform songs from their favourite musicals and you will see their confidence grow week by week.
